STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE SMOOTHIE

STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE

THE SWEET FLAVOURS OF CHEESECAKE TURNED INTO A HEALTHY CREAMY & DELICIOUS SMOOTHIE

SERVES: 2

INGREDIENTS:

  • One large sliced & frozen banana

  • Two cups of frozen strawberries

  • One tbsp of cashew nut butter

  • Zest of half a lemon

  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract

  • One cup of almond milk or dairy-free milk of choice

OPTIONAL:

  • Large handful of frozen spinach

  • Half of a ripe avocado

  • Toppings of choice such as fresh or freeze dried strawberries, Paleo granola, cacao nibs, other fresh berries, bee pollen, coconut flakes, chia seeds etc

  • Ground flax seed or oil

  • Paleo protein powder or collagen powder

  • Medjool dates, liquid stevia, honey or maple syrup to sweeten if required.

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Place all of the ingredients apart from any toppings you may be using into a high powered blender.

  2. Blend until you reach your desired consistency. Add filtered water or extra dairy free milk if you prefer a slightly less thick smoothie. This may take a few minutes and you may need to stop and scrape down the sides as you go.

  3. Pour into glasses to serve and top with your desired toppings.

  4. Eat & enjoy!
