Christmas Eggnog Smoothie

My favourite time of year calls for one delicious Christmas smoothie. I give to you the incredible tasting, protein packed Christmas Eggnog Smoothie. I'll be indulging in this on Christmas morning. Knowing all of the food that is forced upon you on Christmas day & the days before & after, this healthy and delicious creation is so welcome.


Now the only thing I must insist upon when making this smoothie is to use a vanilla flavoured protein powder that either has sweetener in or add your own, it really makes all the difference.

Serves 2




100g Frozen bananas

100g frozen courgettes

2 scoops of clean & sweetened vanilla protein powder - If yours is unsweetened add a few drops of stevia or a glug of maple syrup

1/4 large frozen avocado (approx 30g)

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp ground nutmeg

1/4 tsp all spice

1 cup dairy free milk

1/2 cup filtered water

Maple syrup - optional




  1. Add all ingredients to a high powdered blender and blend until smooth.

  2. Taste and add maple syrup if desired.

  3. Pour into two glasses and add a pinch of ground cinnamon for decoration. Well it is Christmas after all.
